What can you expect in your initial consultation?

We provide a confidential & comprehensive assessment of your mental health. We especially focus on the issues that are presently of concern(s) to you. Your personal narratives are augmented with sensitive enquiries and other sources of information that you provide us with. Your assessment is concluded with a personalised formulation, integrating the many relevant facets of your life including temperament, genetic, biological, psychological, social & cultural. From this shared understanding, we collaborate with you and develop a management plan to alleviate your problems & symptoms.


How long is the consultation?

A standard initial clinical consultation is usually for 60 minutes. If you need further assessment then follow up appointments are scheduled for usually 30-60 minutes. Your standard follow-up treatment sessions are usually 30 minutes.


Where can I park?

There is free parking on site at Seaview House.


How much would this cost?

Standard Initial Consultations for 1 hour are $500. Follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes long with the base rate of $500 per hour ($250 per 30 minutes). Additional time following the first hour is charged in 15 minute blocks on a pro-rata basis ($125 per 15 minutes).


What is the cancellation fee?

Any cancellations with less than 24 business hours notice will incur full charges.


Can you do remote consultations?


Yes, we can do remote consultations. We use Cliniko or Zoom videoconferencing platform which has an encrypted software. We can send you an email link if you have not downloaded Zoom app. If you have downloaded this app, then we can text or email you the meeting ID & password to join this conference.
