I am an Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist in Auckland with a private practice and nearly 10 years as a Consultant at Mason Clinic. I served as an Honorary Academic at the University of Auckland and have been a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK since 2006, a fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists since 2009, and a certified Forensic Psychiatrist since 2015. With over 15 years of international experience in community, inpatient, crisis, rehabilitation, and prison settings, I assess and treat Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Bipolar disorder, Psychosis, ADHD, and PTSD. I provide expert evaluations for civil and criminal cases and create personalized treatment plans with empathy in a safe setting. My approaches are recovery-focused, collaborating closely with families, GPs, and therapists. I keep my knowledge current, with special interests in neuroscience and digital psychiatry.

I am an Adult Psychiatrist in private practice, with over 10 years as a Consultant Psychiatrist at the District Health Board. I graduated from medical school in India in 2002, became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK in 2006, and a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2009. I have worked in Auckland’s health services, including community mental health and acute inpatient units, while maintaining a part-time private practice. I treat adults with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, PTSD, OCD, and neurodevelopmental disorders. My approach emphasizes understanding challenges to guide treatment and encourage family involvement. I also have experience in medico-legal psychiatry, assessing personal injury claims, and accept referrals from agencies like Accident Claims Corporation and insurers.

Originally from Northamptonshire in the UK, I moved to beautiful New Zealand with my husband and 2 girls 18 yrs ago.

I worked in Accident and Medical Administration as a Team Leader for 10 years and have been working in the Private Mental Health sector for the last 8 years, which I thoroughly enjoy.

I strive to provide the best services and care to make patients’ Mental Health journey as smooth and as stress free as possible. My reward every day is hoping that I have made someone’s day a little lighter and brighter.
